Is there a way on the net to find artists with the same type of style? I'm looking for art like Jamie Hewlett's but by other artists.

I was going to suggest some of the art websites, but I don't think any of them will have anything by Jamie Hewlett or similar on them.

I'm not being snotty - just realistic.

I would suggest starting with this link to where it all started for Jamie........2000AD comic. This, I know, has information on other artists who have worked for the magazine.

Jamie Hewlett is in a class by himself. That's why he is so successfull. He is unique. Just like Norman Rockwell, Frazetta, and Tim Sale. If I wanted to find art "like" Norman Rockwell I would have a hard time. Same with Frazetta. But using those same two example I can find plenty of art from the 1920's-40's used in humor advertising. But I would not find the Rockwell style that intreagues me. I could find plenty of Fantasy Illustrations like Frazetta but never "like Frazetta". Boris Valejo is a fantasy illustrator. If I'm looking to collect fantasy art then that would be easy. But Frazetta and Boriz have their unique styles. The only way for me to find styles similar to Boris is by searching for work from his students such as Julie Bel. Their styles are very similar. I feel thats terrible. It's like having a shadow. Jamie Hewlet is to comic art as Frazetta is to fantasy art.

Look for comic art with a hint of pop culture and you may find something similar to Jamie.

Good Luck

You can always see where that person exhibits their work, usually similar artists will exhibit there. You can also ask the gallery/museum what style it is considered and look up other artists by style instead of names.

I don't think so. I can vouch for me, that my style is constantly changing and to keep up with such a thing would be quite a feat.
