what do u think of this poem i wrote:

As I think of you,
my eyes light up,
and my anger goes away,
I become calm,
and self controled,
all the pain disappears,
and all the sadness goes away,
my life turns up,
and I become happy.

But as you slip away from my mind,
anger whells up inside me,
my fists tighten,
my eyes glare,
I lose control,
and go insane,
my eyes turn blood shot,
and my hands begin to shake,
as my body trembles,
and I become simply nothing.

i'm trying to think of theme's for our yearbook next year,
and not themes like "under the sea" or "roller coasters",
but themes that are deep and have meaning, like "elements", "you are here", etc. that are provocative and make you think and reflect.

or i need help elaborating on the theme of "treasures", which is an idea i'm tossing around right now. so it would be like a hidden treasure/diamond in the rough/x marks the spot kind of thing.

I really need help sparking my writing again. I haven't writted much since early last year and I have been encouraged over and over again that I need to pick up the pen and start my writing again and finish some uncomplete stories. But I haven't even been able to get my creative writing drills going. I need help. Anybody out there, can offer me advice or swing drills back and forth at each other. Would be greatly appreciated.

I'm starting Martial Arts classes at a local gym. It's not a very well known art like say, Tae Kwon Do or Karate. What would be the best way to get people interested and get them through the door? I primarily am looking for a demographic of about 14 and up. What and where are some good places to advertise. Flyers and stuff are obvious but they don't seem to bring about a good return, or maybe I'm not putting them in good places. I think advertising at Highschools would be good, but I'm not in Highschool anymore, so that makes things tricky.

What connection do Portuguese have to other countries around the wolrd? I'm 100% portuguese my whole family lives there and my sister and I are the first generation here in America... We both had light blond hair until we were about 10 and now it's from light brown to dirty blond in the summer, also not to be at all racist but there are some angles of myself which dont look entirely european, does anyone know what percentages of different ethnic mixes do portuguese people have? I definately wanna know how related we are to Irish people too lol.. and also did the Irish come to the iberian pennisula or did they come from there and go to the british isles... i know we have something to do with them but i dont know how much and based more specifically on my family's genetics..

A friend told me about this book and I have the sudden urge to find out more about it and don't feel like waiting until I talk to this friend again.

She described it as a world where everyone is the same and jobs are handed out. One kid receives the job of like a "keeper"of information to keep it passed along the generations.

I do not know the the title or the author or anything else. It was short, one word, two max. I believe it started with a 'W'.

We saw the book in a bookstore. On the version that I saw there was a bigger old guy with a long beard in the foreground while the background was black. I believe the title was on the top.

Thanks for the help and I do realize this description probably describes a lot of books.

Oh how the moon shines bright,
Never giving fright,
Through the night,
It gives off appealing light,
All in its might,
Never picking fights,
Doing right,
In the arms of the night.

HERE's THE SECOND ONE:

The wind blows across my face,
As in my hand I hold my suitcase,
Ready to leave,
Trying not to greave,
For my loss of a love one,
My eyes shone,
With water,
I try not to falter,
For I cannot bare to leave,
Or once again greave,
Why must things be this way,
All through the night and day,
I try not to cry,
Though I can’t forgive the lies,
The lies that my love one told,
Creating a fold,
A fold in our relationship,
A rip in our friendship,
Before he passed away,
As the suns rays,
Shone across his face,
He lost the race,
The race for life,
Life was the race,
I’ll never forget his face,
Though he left this world with a disagreement,
I never meant,
Meant for this to happen,
I shouldn’t have been mad,
For now I am sad,
And gone he is,
Gone forever.

Describe the European colonization of the Middle colonies. Contrast the development of these colonies with that of those in New England.

Trace the role of geography in the development of the American Colonies from the earliest expeditions up to the American Revolution. How did it influence the settlement, the culture, and the major events that occured during this time period?

What, in your view, was the point of no return for the American Revolution? You must choose one thing or event and use historical evidence to back up your argument.

TAYLOR
The Taylors who are affiliated with Clan Cameron as a sept are said to be descended from Donald "Taillear dubh na tuaighe" (Black tailor of the [Lochaber] axe), who lived in the time of Mary Queen of Scots. He was the "natural son" of Ewen Cameron, 14th Chief of Clan Cameron and a daughter of the Chief of Clan MacDougall, out of wedlock. Ewen had Donald nursed by a tailor's wife at Lundavra; thus the name Taylor. After his father's death (Ewen died while a captive of the Chief of the MacDougalls, held prisoner until he agreed to marry the Chief's daughter), Donald would became the greatest warrior that Clan Cameron had even known. Acknowledgement of his parentage by his deceased father not being enough to ascend to the Chiefship, he excelled in the field of battle, usually against the Cameron's principal foes, the Clan Mackintosh and usually with his trusty Lochaber axe. In time he would flee rising Cameron-Mackintosh internal Clan treachery, with a band of loyal followers, to Cowal. The descendants of his followers there were for ages known as Mac an taillear; later as Taylor. A tribute to Donald remains in the Cameron Coat of Arms, where his likeness, along with a Lochaber axe, borders/protects the outer shield.
