Philosophy right! Rational thinking?!
squash a bug - a mosquito. Leave it in a jar for a few days. What happens to it? What do you imagine happens to it when its remains are thrown out. It recycles and becomes its constituent parts reused by other organisms.
Nothing else!
On the scale of the universe who is bigger 1. the mosquito to the earth, or 2. the human to the universe?
What do you think happens to us when we die? use your imagination that has been charged by the preceding example. Where is this immortal thing coming from that so many people hold onto? Did the bug have one, does the dog? No!
Neither do we.
Dead and gone!
Dead and gone!
Gone where?
everywhere
into everything
part of all
part of naught
that is what
we
should
be taught.
Have a laugh
have a life
have some fun
for
where
you
go
there
will be none.

Part of the concept of God is that He is eternal, meaning He didn't ever come to be, He just always was.
It actually goes a bit further even than that- an eternal being is not one that exists for all of time, but that exists outside of time altogether, so all moments are combined, in a sense, into one everlasting moment. There is no past, present, and future, there is just a constant state of being. This is a difficult concept to grasp, but that is what people mean when they say that God is eternal.
As for what happens when we die, I have no idea, and I'm not going to even try to speculate about it. There are a lot of things that we can try to figure out with the limited information we have, but until someone comes back from the dead to tell us what happens after death, we have no way of accessing even a tiny bit of information about that experience, so we'll have to accept that we'll find out when our time comes.

Do we really know how we've come to be or where we are going? Really? As long as we perceive God to be seperate from us we are living in delusion and there will never be an answer. I also suspect we will not know more after we die than we know alive.
Most underestimate their own true essence and the power we have. If you pay attention to what people who seem to be "enlightened" talk about ,the question of who or what God is never seems to come up. They just seem to know and understand that.

Such and other questions on God are nothing but idle curiosity.... we should first learn to make full use of the knowledge we already have rather than keep looking for more and more information. For instance we can help a needy person we know who is genuinely asking for help. If indeed God is there, He would certainly be more pleased with that.

I do not know. Still, I think that that question takes for granted a few things that each of us had better clarify for our own good BEFORE we die namely (1) whether there IS a God, (2) whether we are likely to encounter him when we die, and (3) whether the results of that encounter will be sufficiently benign/pleasant to allow us to be comfortable enough to think about his origins thereafter.

According to the bible, God has no beginning or end, so there is no way to find out how He came to be since He has always been.

We won't know that until we are resurrected and see God for the first time then your question will be irrelevant.

Think about this, "How does any one of the living creatures on the planet come to be?" Maybe it is just that simple.
