You might want to try "Stormbreaker" and the other books in that series by Anthony Horowitz. Another favorite is "Eragon" by Christopher Paolini, and another one is the Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer. "Stormbreaker" is about a 14 year old English boy who found out that his recently deceased uncle (and father figure) was a spy for the English government. He is then recruited by them as the youngest spy. Kinda like James Bond with action scenes and gizmos and such. I liked it. Eragon is pretty good--lots of action there as well. There's a movie about it now, but the movie's not as good as the book. The Artemis Fowl series is very imaginative and has lots of action too--about a 14 year old boy genius who is also filthy rich and discovers that there is an underground world of other creatures. That one's pretty funny in parts.

First I would like to say, Harry Potter is the most gay book in the creation of life. Don't read that sh!t. You get nothing out of it. When I read books, its only to get something from it. Right now Im reading the Seven Secrets by John Hagee. Its a good book

Whatever books you do decide to read, please stay away fro the typical books, that everyone "claims" are good because they want to jump on the "I'm cool I read" bandwagon a.k.a The Alchemist. I would suggest you read Anne Rice's Cry to Heaven, (she's the author of the vampire novels like Interview with the vampire, and queen of the damned) Cry to heaven isn't a vampire novel, but it's an amazing book about redemption and revenge..sorta like count of monte cristo. I hope you like it

Buddy, I was you four years ago, so I will save you some hassle and recommend the necessities:

1984 (George Orwell)
Heart of Darkness (Joseph Conrad)
The Little Prince (Antoine de Saint-Exupery)
The Diary of Anne Frank (well, it is kind of obvious who wrote that one).

Good luck!
