I have several lighthouse pictures for reference and they are all taken on land. My preference is for the one that has tree branches at the top on either side of the picture. There is a picnic table in the forground. My problem is composition. Framing the lighthouse with green leaves is good, but what else can I do to make this picture special and not boring?

I am auditioning for theatre conservatories in NY coming up. I have my contemporary dramatic piece, but I need a contemporary comedic monologue (was thinking George from The Actor's Nightmare) and classical comedic monologue (was thinking Scapin by Moliere). I also need a song, I was thinking Giants in the sky from Into the woods or Dead Old Man from Reefer Madness (something new and never done). Thank you! Also, WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?!?!

The old photo albums that I am referring to are the kind where you put a picture on a sticky cardboard and cover, I believe, with a piece of cellophane or plastic. After a few years the pictures become stuck in the photo album and are almost impossible to remove without ripping the pictures.

At first, I was enjoying the new direction J.K. Rowling was going in Book 4 of the Harry Potter series. She changed from a plot-driven text to a psychological narrative, and I was intrigued. But the last few chapters of the book are truly terrible. I was angered that a character I liked, Professor Moody, doesn't even exist; he's merely an unconscious old man in a trunk. And the fact that Barty Crouch has the same name as his dad was just stupid. I hate it when authors spring things on me -- at those points, I stop caring about the story. Finally, Voldemort is a horribly boring nemesis for Harry. He talked FOREVER, pages upon pages. He revealed an entire plot the reader knew very little about a la Scooby Doo.

What do you think about the Goblet of Fire?

My favorite book is Jane Eyre-I must have read it more than a dozen times. But for some strange reason, I never have been able to enjoy Pride and Prejudice. I have read Pride and Prejudice (for school), but getting through it was a real struggle. How about you?
