She reads a book for the narrative story only. She doesn't understand why everybody agrees on a theme of a piece of literature without having to hear it from the author him/herself. I might not ever change her opinion. How can I explain what teachers teach is not just made up tripe? How can I help her to open her mind a little about literature and the deeper meaning of it?

I'm at an intermediate-beginning stage. Just looking for your thoughts on cuteness-factor. I know neither shoe is all that glamorous, but this is for lessons and practice. Would love opinions. Thanks!!!

If we exclude the "unnessecary warmths" spoken of by Henry David Thoroeau, can I still say that human life is worthy of using energy to maintain it? (this is what I originally meant by my question, I apologize for my late conviction of how to say it correctly.)

This is the opinion of song writer Steve Earle. The war certainly benefited some groups more than others. Would the slaves and native americans have been better off under the British?

I am thinking of auditioning for the chorus of a community musical theatre and I have a lot of vocal experience but very little dance experience. This theatre asks that vocal callbacks come prepared with dance shoes but they don't specify what they want you to do. I was wondering if anyone knows what a typical theatre would require for the callback dancing and what I should do to prepare for it?

Thanks very much~
