Why or why not? What does that phrase mean? It's from the Wallflowers song, "The Difference."

It means that they die in peace. As opposed to looking stressed and worn with age, in that final moment, they know rest is on the other side. Sweet, blissful rest.

They die with a look of cheeky monkeys, like little boys when they are waiting for a special treat.
Maybe they do not look old, they look as if they have not a care in the world or just youthful?

well,
because when we first come out of our mothers..
we look like balding
no teeth
and our face looks mushy like that of a bulldogs
BTW have you heard of adult diapers..

that sums it up...

old men die, but remains young at heart. i won't say it's true, rather, it is possible. only our physique dwindles, human heart never grows old
