a new style of government was founded in America, this in turn inspired some in Europe to demand more freedoms and France even had a revolution of its own. Liberalist ideas flurished due to the american revolution. Checks and balances spread to many countries in Europe, many wars came after the revolution in america and at least some were inspired by it or by the same poeple that inspired it.

As a direct result of the American Revolution, the United States of America was formed. Otherwise we would still be the British Colonies.
