Take a minute and dream it up. Is there anything that is currently keeping you from accomplishing this vision?

“Go!”
And he did. He ran as he had never run before. He pumped his legs harder and harder, nearly tripping over his own feet. He leaped over the dead Siswi’amen, the second one, and raced out the door, heading towards the door. A cold wind had risen up, whipping against his face. He heard the man behind him.
“Do not stop,” the Siswi’amen said. “Just keep running.”
Orephain swerved around a corner. He was getting closer to the Festival. He didn’t want to lead them there, but he had no choice. He could hear the aachn howl behind him. The image of the other Siswi’amen lying dead on the Tavern floor made him race harder. He wouldn’t, couldn’t let that happen to him.
A bolt of lightning streaked from the sky. He heard a crack, and the yelp of an aachn.
“Do not stop!” the Siswi’amen behind him shouted. A strong gale was rushing all around them, howling. “Keep running!”
Orephain could see the villagers ahead of him. They were stopping uncertainly, holding on to their clothes.

I am trying to chose which book to read. Instead of finding out what your favorite is (already done), I was wondering if you disliked a specific book and how come.

I was wondering about what topic could be good for my History assignment.

I am supposse to get a topic related to the 1500's or prior and then get specific dates. Some kind of time-line sort of thing and then an essay about it.

The problem is that I can't think of a decent topic and ideas ?

What kind of effect has our evolving technology had on the environment? Our resourses? Human morality? Family values? What has happened to our society?

TECHNOLOGY - and it's pervasive impact on everything we do.

Let me simplify and explain.

Our society has come farther in the last 100 years, in the realm of technology, than any society of mankind in the history of the world. Statistics will dictate that when you have a rapid rise in any area, eventually you will hit a "peak" and after that the tides will turn and what was a rise, will be a rapid fall.

It is my belief that technology has stolen just as much as it has given, and our ability to create and use anything we wish to attain whatever we want, as a culture, will back fire on us and be the utter downfall and obliteration of what our society has become.

What are your thoughts on technology as it applies to environment, social ability, and morality in America?
