Absolutely. Without closure, things may seem to disappear for some time, maybe even years, but it will still eat at you mentally. Random thoughts, daydreams, night dreams...they will all bring it to the surface, if only for a short time. Closure is the best option.

Yes it is. The definition of closures: 1) The act of closing or the state of being closed 2) A bringing to an end; a conclusion.

You will be able to move on for a while yes, but with it hanging over your head. Best to close it off once and for all and be done with it. So my answer would be - Yes it is needed/necessary but you CAN move on without it to some extent.

Closure is the only thing that matters. Once it is satisfied, something else will be the only thing that matters. Here is a hint: It explains the world in terms needed by that person. We don't have to understand it, THEY have to make sense of it. The answer doesn't have to be good or bad, just logical.

Closure on Death.

Question: Why is there death?

Answer: The Cycle of life requires things to be born, live within their purpose in life, and in dying perpetuate the cycle of life. That is, in time, what all creatures do. I will and you will. If you worry about other petty things, you will quickly notice that your part in this cycle has gone by without your participation and you will have missed all the fun in the time allotted to you.

If you miss the fun and joy, bummer dude. Smile, by order of The Great Wizard of OZ.

I don't think you really need to face the closure directly....just try to write it down on a piece of paper...no matter how painful.......I finally met my closure almost 30 years later....along with others and it is not good to keep it locked up....its good to let it all go because negative energy will bring you down....so move on....forget your closure......life goes on...

No. As you get older, you will find that you will continue to harbor feelings for those you have long since left behind. This is both healthy and natural.

On the other hand, perhaps you're referring to an official "adios," and formal declaration severing the relationship. In which case, I would say, yes. This is necessary. Unless, of course, you plan on leaving the timezone.

I feel that there is no such thing as closure. What happens will always be in the back of your mind and stir up those feelings again.
