I have an Official Queen Mary Medal...on the front it has a ship and says below ship Queen Mary "THE STATELIEST SHIP IN BEING" on the back at the top it says Maiden Voyage May27,1936 .. Arrived Long beach December 9,1967 ... 1001 Roundtrip on te Alantic..
bottom it says .. War March 1940 Service September 1946 .... Transported 810,730 Military Personel .... anyone know anything about this , or know where i can find out..... does anyone know how much its worth?

The Queen Mary 1 is a ship, that is now owned by the city of Long Beach, Calif and is a tourist attraction. I was on their web page the other day for another question.
Using the fact that it explicitly mentions the date it arrived in Long Beach in 1967.. just about proves that it had nothing to do with a war. (the ship may have... not the medal). In all probability, it is a souvenier from the gift shop.
