Okay.

I really want to be an actress or movie director. This year, our musical is Annie, and I would really love to be Annie and would put in all my effort just to make that part.

I'm not sure how good I sing- I know how to sing with a higher pitched voice like Annie, and I have the "Maybe" song stuck in my head.

Does anyone have tips on how to have a great audition and/or improve on my singing?

Clive Barker is one of the best thinkers in fiction. None of his stories are predictable, mainly because they're so far out. But they're not too far out be enjoyable or downright disturbing. Some of my favorite stories came from the Books of Blood (particularly "Hell's Race"). What imagination!

I read in a book that the blonde gene was actually passed to Homo Sapiens from Neanderthals and that Neanderthals were actually smarter stronger and better looking than us and they were also blonde. I am not sure when it was written, but it was a old book when I read it in high school 20 years ago. It was about a retarded guy who either had an opperation, or took some kind of medicine that made him very smart, but he knew it was only a temporary thing and he would soon be like he was before. All I remember about the title of it was that it was his name with one of the letters backward. I would really like to read it again.

I am going to audition for the musical "Oklahoma!" in about 10 days. I want the role of Ado Annie, but we have nothing to go on. They said just to show up and they would provide all of the materials I will need. Can anyone give me any tips?
