Particularly the really sexy kind where the guy sweeps the girl around in a circle. I'm just curious... My guess is that it's the tango, but I wanted to know how many other dances can involve lots of dips :)

In 2005 I saw a painting at an exhibit at the National Gallery in Krakow, but can't remember the name of the artist. It was a painting of a heart, with a brick wall around it, so the heart was only partially exposed. The background was black and the heart was like a medical picture. Anyone know who did this painting or the name of it? I would love to find a print of it. Thanks!

Most people know that Hannibal invaded Italy with war elephants by crossing the Alps. But how did he get the elephants to Iberia in the first place? According to historic data, the route he took would have been from North Africa to Spain, over the Pyrenees to France and over the Alps into Italy. Did he have ships large enough to cross the Mediterranean? Did he make many trips? All of the accounts I've read seem to gloss over this little detail. Does anyone here know the answer? Thanks.

I'm writing a novel set in the Victorian era. It's about a prostitute who falls in love with the inspector who had rescued her from a suicide attempt. The problem is, I can't figure out how she could end up falling in love with a man. The only fact I am aware of about a prostitute is that they are usually man-haters. But what else of their character? Are they all untrustworthy, unsensitive, loud, dishonest and such? (I'm sorry, but that was how this one prostitute I had once encountered acted like...but I KNOW not all are like her, that's why I'm asking for help). Or can they be sensitive, kind, and . . .trustworthy? But I'm sure most all of them don't trust other people. Anyways, my point is, tell me about how a prostitute's character might me.

Also, is it possible for a prostitute to fall in love? I mean, they've been treated so bad by men and all.....if they CAN fall in love, how?

Will there ever be another mass cultural/socio/musical movement like there was back in the 1960s and 70s? I'm not saying it should be an exact repeat of that era, nor would I want it to be. But will society ever see another complete revolution like we did in the 1960s?
