In 2005 I saw a painting at an exhibit at the National Gallery in Krakow, but can't remember the name of the artist. It was a painting of a heart, with a brick wall around it, so the heart was only partially exposed. The background was black and the heart was like a medical picture. Anyone know who did this painting or the name of it? I would love to find a print of it. Thanks!

Hey Lostgirl,

Do you speak Polish? The first site is the National Gallery in Krakow, but in Polish. Most National Galleries have listings of past exhibits. Perhaps, you could call the curator.

Contact the museum and ask to speak with an exhibit coordinator or docent or someone in the bookstore - there may be an exhibit catalog, or cards printed. I found a link for email contact on their website - it is set for English but is mostly in Polish but surely someone at the museum speaks English and would be able to translate (there is an option near the top right of the page for language change) The website offers some English but not much.
