I always end up drawing eyes, like human eyes, or cats eyes, they are pretty realistic looking but I can't help but wonder why is it that it is EYES all the time when I don't know what else to doodle? I know it's a dumb question and I am not even sure what catogory to go under but do any of you think there is an underlying meaning to it?I mean to me drawing eyes!??

I have an artwork that's patriotic, I just finished it up and a friend of mine suggested that it would make a great postal stamp. But I can't find any sites where you could send a submission like that to the government... anyone know where I could start asking questions to see if my art might be good enough for a postal stamp?

In 1940, my aunt and her bf poisened and killed her husband(my uncle) and hid his body in a grain silo. People started asking where he was. After a few days, my aunt's bf took the dead body from the grain silo and placed it in the pasture, thats when my aunt called the police. They never suspected murder. The police report says he died of over exertion and my aunt and her bf lived happily ever after. They both died in 1985. I found out about this from family tree research and read my uncles obituary in the news paper from 1940. So, I am related to a woman who was cheating on her husband and murdered him and got away with it. Great.........

I bought this old green combat helmet from an antique store in town for my sons bedroom. I have searched the internet and cannot locate which country from. I know the sticker said World War 2 , but I need to know who wore as far as countries go. The helmet looks to be British in style other than it does have this wedge at the top. Not like the police and firemen wore but like a 1/2" high wedge to the top that goes from the front to the back. Any ideas?

One of the other questions about music got me thinking...why is it that music touches the core of so many people? What is it about music that can ease your mind, allow you to "zone out" of every day life and drift away to some fantasy place? After all, music is typically human voices, man made objects, all making noise simultaniously. How do these actions lead to creating something that is such a force in our every day life and such a big influence in our society? You rarely find anyone that doesn't enjoy some type of music. What exactly is it about music that makes it enjoyable?
