Your soul is forever, it is your essence, the part of you that is really you. If you cut your leg and arm off and they were gone, you are missing body parts, not yourself. The Bible states that we are dwelling on this earth in tents. Later we will receive our new bodies. We don't know exactly how that will be, but we don't have to worry about that. We need to seek God and truth and leave the rest to the one who can do something about it. Yes, I know the questions avail, and we are not suppose to have all the answers. Relax God' s in Charge, lucky for us.
