...better than in the past. Do you think, even though the world is not perfect, and sad events plague us at the moment, the world is constantly, if very slowly, moving in the right direction and our ancestors will be better off then we are today, and there ancestors will be even better, etc.? I think that humanity does make progress and for every step back we eventually take two forward! What do you think?

Chinese version called "Hong Lou Meng", written in the 18th century by Cao Xueqin, and is considered one of the Four Great Classical Chinese Novels. Amazon.com has about a million different translated versions, many of them come in multiple volumes. I would like the whole story in one complete volume, if possible. I'm also looking for accuracy, with nothing of the original narrative ommited. Has anyone read this book who can recommend a really good translation? Thanks!

I have really bad stage fright. or i did. well when i am on stage in front of alot of people i freak out! i have never done a talent show. i did chorus for one year. well we had no choice! but i am not that afraid to talk in front of my class because i know my classmates. but when i talk in front of my PE class i freak out because i dont know many people, and some arent in any of my classes. sometimes i even get scared to play indoor soccer infront of 2 big PE classes. and i love soccer! what should i do to get rid of my stage fright, and other problems??

am i the only one who didn't feel cheated by the ending? it's a bitter ending to be sure but honestly, what other ending could there have been? Rolands quest for the Tower was always one of damnation and i think it serves that the ending be just as damned for him. I hate how it ended for Roland but i think that there is no better ending to the series.

if you disagree please tell me what a better ending would have been.
