there have been artifacts that have been found that were from aboiut 4000 to 1000 B.C. so Armenia is a very old country.

The present country Armenia was formed on Dec.25, 1991, after the collapse of Soviet Union during the reign of Mikhail Gorbachev. That would make Armenia...15 years old roughly. If you are including the Soviet Armenian Socialist Republic, then the official date for that would be Dec. of 1920, when the Red Army invaded Armenia.
