Erm...for a human?

Yes.

Why is this in Philosophy? Shouldn't it be in Science?

No. No it is not at all. Use your imagionation and someone smart enough will listen to the ideas and invent something. If the people who favor the 'Scientific Theory' are right, than we'll have a revolutionary break though in 2 million years tops.

I figure, humans will never be able to fly themselves. We have to use flying machines to help us do that. The fault is in our bone structure, and that we don't have wings. Our bodies are too heavy, and we don't have anything to lift ourselves with.

Nope.

Who knows, maybe in the next few hundred years someone might figure out a way to alter DNA so that humans could grow wings.

quote:

"How to Levitate

In it’s rawest form, levitation can supposedly be accomplished through a number of ways. In Buddhism it is believed one can levitate himself through spiritual meditation, which involves a complete focused state of mind. In isolated areas of Asia there are apparently many accounts of this phenomena taking place.

Crossing continents to Africa and South America, many members of tribes practice magical acts, such as levitation. Unimaginable feats take place within tribal areas, and records of African inhabitants lifting themselves, along with other physical possessions, such as cows are not rare occurrences."
