"The Foolish Things We Do"

Cheeks all wet
Throat in a burning rage.
Heart filled with regret
Mind on a complicated rampage.

Don't know what to do
Nothing left to say.
It's all because of me and you
Why I don't want to live another day.

Foolish teens is what we be
All over wooden benches.
Now it is all up to and for me
To pay and deal with the consequences.

Things my parents taught me
That I promised myself I would never say.
Is all coming back now you see
"Only 'IF' I" could change that foolish day.

So now I lay as I pray
Drinking and drugging at any cost.
So that it may go away
Not caring for my own life being lost.

Hoping for no one to find out
Hoping it not to be true.
Keeping shut our foolish mouths
Keeping it between me and you.

The Ancient Roman Empire fell due to the following benefactors:
1. Corrupted Government.
2. Scattered Soldiers over the Empire.
3. Blindsited by Enemies: Complete Chaos
4. Overcome by selfishness and greed, the romans helped to destroy themselves.

Well, if all of this is happening in America, then is it possible that the downfall of a country is possible. Basically, the US is scattered in other countries. So is it any different?

Do all humans naturally perceive life through the eyes of the past? And that what we perceive in others is distorted by our own perception of ourselves that we directly or indirectly struggle with? And if we are only responsive by what is a reflection of what has been impressed upon us, then does this make our very nature mechanical and only reflexive in general?

Thank you for replying.

Living beings are all about surviving, but not humans. A person can have large amounts of food, and kill himself out of boredom, for example...

The laws of evolution can explain how an intelligent being can have it easy to survive. But the irony is that an intelligent being can be so intelligent that he decides that surviving is no longer the primary goal. So the laws of evolution killed themselves, at this point, they commited involuntary suicide.
