"The Foolish Things We Do"
Cheeks all wet
Throat in a burning rage.
Heart filled with regret
Mind on a complicated rampage.
Don't know what to do
Nothing left to say.
It's all because of me and you
Why I don't want to live another day.
Foolish teens is what we be
All over wooden benches.
Now it is all up to and for me
To pay and deal with the consequences.
Things my parents taught me
That I promised myself I would never say.
Is all coming back now you see
"Only 'IF' I" could change that foolish day.
So now I lay as I pray
Drinking and drugging at any cost.
So that it may go away
Not caring for my own life being lost.
Hoping for no one to find out
Hoping it not to be true.
Keeping shut our foolish mouths
Keeping it between me and you.

This is a really good poem and it seems to be about a choice you made in your life that has had a bad outcome and has brought depression into your life. So apparentely you are still suffering today for the choice you made. Make a promise too yourself to not let this disrupt your life any longer. We all make mistakes learn to forgive yourself and heal.

For me a poem has to have rhythm. if u could make the 4th line short and less complicated and try to be more optimistic ("i realy liked the 3rd para it rocks")it will be great
