it's kinda tricky but deep.. i guess, it's about being whole as an individual before you can be a part of any relationships. it's like, loving yourself first before anyone else, because if you don't have love for yourself, you could not truly love someone else... YOU CANNOT GIVE SOMETHING THAT YOU DON'T HAVE.

To me the statement could mean a few things. It could be referencing to a lesson in devotion, as to say one is not welcome if they aren't willing to give it they're all. It could mean what Wayne said, you can't give something you don't have. Still yet it could mean that no pieces or parts can exist that are not part of a whole. My opinion is that the phrase is quite intriguing.
