I am trying to come up with some good topics for my senior honors thesisfor philosophy. I know in the end it is my decision but what do you think of these topics:

How secret societies have played a role in the development of modern political philosophy.

Why Plato's cave theory is correct.

Was there one central philosophy that all others were built upon?

That is all I have right now, but please feel free to add some ideas if you have one. I would like my emphasis to be on classical ideas, political philosophy, or philosophy of religion.

Thanks in advance.

I think this phrase may have a lot more to it than people give it credit for.
What are your ideas on "The Path of Least Resistance" and what does it mean to you?

This is a deep question and yet the answer is simple. It should go without saying that the context of this overturning was during antiquity, before Christ. In the event of a surprising answer about which I have no clue, that should accompany a proof.

The book referenced the raised arm salute as possibly falic and his affinity for the arian race, specifically men. He apparently was afraid of sex too, but that was more because of to possibility of spreading 'diseased' genes.
I never thought that way and wondered if it was a new theory.

This Journey

Take my hand,

I'll take yours.

Let's take the open road,

Drive wherever we feel like going.

And I'll cry just cause I have the tears,

I'm tired of laughing let's get serious for a bit.

I'll miss home,

But I wouldn't trade this journey for the world.

Take my hand and I'll take yours,

Don't tell me to stop,

Or to turn around,

I want this journey.

The signs aren't there,

Let's just take the journey.

I want to dance,

Because we have the chance.

Let's go, let's just drive.

I just want you to know,

I care.

So let's go, hand in hand.

We'll cry cause we have the tears,

We'll dance because there's music.

I want to write my own story,

On this wonderful journey of ours.

Sure, it's spontaneous,

But sometimes what we need is unplanned.

I want to go,

So let's just leave.

The road is ahead; let's go on this journey.

I'll miss home,

But I've had home all my life.

So let's go!

Take my hand and I'll take yours,

We'll smile cause we're out of tears,

We'll take pictures to remember,

This life filled journey of ours.

Let's begin, hand in hand,

I'll show you the way,

As long as you show me.

Let's live life just cause we can.

I recently returned to some old unfinished oil paintings that were incomplete but very dry. I decided to try using a little oil pastel on them. Is this going to create adherence problems or anything? Any artists out there with experience or advice about this?

it must be understood that in any historical text there is extensive bias that portrays one group, country or event in a more positive light
some texts for example would ramble on about how Ferdinand financed the voyage to America for pages and have a brief synopsis on the genocide of the Arawaks and Tainos...is that not a little disturbing and the War of 1812, how many books are neutral bout whether the US lost or won?

please incorporate examples such as these into your response.

think about the causes that plunged the US into the war.
was it impressment or was it Canada...Do you think America cared enough about sailors to pursue war?
in the end british ceased to impress sailors. but america certainly did not get canada upon which many like to say "we didnt lose any land"
do u like me think impressment was an excuse and the real reason was to conquer Canada? if yes how realistic was this goal? and how cunningly have textbooks covered up the unerlying reason (Canada)? does the textual bias bother anyone?
