The effects of the Jewish holocaust are :
The world decided that the Jewish nation had to have a territory
and England facilitated Palestine for them. Creating the Jews, that Jewish State in 1948.
For the first time in history nation leaders were accused of "Crimes against Humanity" and sentenced to death for it.
Creating a pattern that has taken roots and grown.
Today "Human Rights" are an important International issue.
Although Palestinians had never had a Nation, or a State, after the Jews created their State, Palestinians claimed their territory and a great crisis began between Arabs and Jews, that has torn the world between Western Culture and Islamic Culture.
Israel is the only democracy in the middle east and the most trustworthy ally of the USA in the region.

The establishment of the united nations (read their charter and declaration of human rights). Go to their website for these documents. --> a pledge from the countries of the world that it would never happen again.

The establishment of Israel because when the Jews of Europe needed somewhere to run not too many countries were particularly helpful
More directly the sheer numbers of people slaughtered greatly reduced the size of the Jewish community in europe.
