Of those who have seen the Rocky Horror Picture Show, how was it? My friend and I are interesting in seeing it but of course being virgins we don't know a single thing about it. I've done some research on the Web but none of them have helped with my nervousness. Should there be anything we should really be cautious about? Anything that we could do to improve our first experience?

we have to do an essay on symbolism of the conch and the lord of the flies...

so far i notes:
the conch was used as a symbol of democracy because it showed that everyone had the right to speak..but they had to wait tillt hey were given the conch..so that everyone had an euqal chance to speak their opinion- also represents the equality people SHOULD have during meetings..as the shell looses attention...more and more of the government ralph and the children has created falls apart...when the conch is gone, government is gone...this is showed at the end of the book where Piggy dies and the conch is crushed into pieces

the sow head--the lord of the flies--- the evil within human nature..the devil personality everyone has that always yearns for more and more power/control no matter how much they are already given...how fear can quickly drive all hatred and horro towards one goal; in this case destruction of a specific gov

wut else can i put for the lord of the flies??

Remember when Harry asked Nearly Headless Nick about whether Sirius could come back as a ghost even if he's dead? Well, how come Harry didn't seem unaware in the first place that some people whom died could come back and some can't? What about Cedric Diggory? He died and he didn't come back as a ghost, and neither did Harry's parents when they died? Did Nearly Headless Nick die in Hogwarts and is only seen in Hogwarts and no place else? Also, remember those voices that only Luna and Harry could hear? What about Neville? I thought he witnessed someone die in his family? And what exactly are those voices from the veil? Are they souls of dead people and only people whom have seen death can hear them?

This author has been recommended to me. I have searched and searched, but have only found one reference to him. Have you heard of him? He is attributed with quotes like "We may not be well but we're not as sick as we used to be."

I have an assignment that requires me to "build" a dump truck for kids that would be a folding type of thing and would be given away as a promotional item. It needs to be simple so that the kid, but most likely the parent, will put it together. Minimal tape or glue. Any suggestions? Oh, I'll have to design something on this truck so it'll be printed on card stock weight of paper. Thanks much!
