This author has been recommended to me. I have searched and searched, but have only found one reference to him. Have you heard of him? He is attributed with quotes like "We may not be well but we're not as sick as we used to be."

Steve A....after 7 years you probably know by now that Jess Laird is really Jess "Lair" who wrote the book, "I Ain't Much, Baby---But I'm all I've Got". I've shared a line from this book many, many times over the past 45 years with friends and acquaintances. It was a farmer talking to Jess about life and it's trials. The farmer's comment...."You know, Jess, ain't none of us gonna get out of this thing alive!" There was another favorite "take-away" and it was Jess acknowledging to the farmer that God was very good to him to provide him with such beautiful farm land. personally the only styles really making it big now are there more fashion oriented frames. look at stuff from this site
