But I'm quite shy and don't want to go to a dance class.. Please help!

Buy videos. Also, you can try Ice Skating. It's an easy way to lose weight while having fun. Usually, the clases are small and you get friendly with the people very quickly. Also, it's just like dancing!

well for the shy part i do dance and im shy and at first i didnt want to go and i thought i wouldnt make any friends which was true for my first year there but after i had some friend and i get more and more.so dont worry.i am still shy but i like my dance studio now.


for the losing weight part u should do an aactive dance or yoga.
-active dances make you sweat more which lets you lose weight.for example you can do hip hop or jazz.
-but yoga improves your health and makes you lose a little weight.
if yoou are young i suggest you to do hip hop or jazz though because it is more fun.if you are old then do yoga because it is relaxing.


if you really dont like the dance studio after you tried it a few times then go to like private classes or something.

Unless you are in a dance company, social dancing is not a good way to lose weight.

well i might recommend going to a store and buying a workout dvd/video that involves dancing, or even maybe calling up a dance studio and asking for a private lesson...or just basically dance in your own way and be yourself and if you are dedicated and try as hard as you can you'll lose tons of weight , feel great about yourself, and be a great dancer in you own way. well there are movies out there to help teach dance. And if u are 2 shy 2 go 2 a store and buy 1 u can order some off t.v. lol heck no one would know that it was u then so u wouldn't have 2 worry about that =D

go to the gym and take an arobics class... thats sort of like dancing.
RANDOM FACT- you burn about 20 calories everytime you do a cartwheel!
Also... buy the game dance dance revolution... it was originally made for wieght loss purposes.
