The precocious protagonist of Bless Me, Ultima, Antonio is six years old at the beginning of the novel. Antonio is serious, thoughtful, and prone to moral questioning, and his experiences force him to confront difficult issues that blur the lines between right and wrong. He turns to both pagan and Christian ideologies for guidance, but he doubts both traditions. With Ultima’s help, Antonio makes the transition from childhood to adolescence and begins to make his own choices and to accept responsibility for their consequences.

"To thine own self be true," as goes the familiar Shakespearean quote that is now used as proverb. But what if your true self doesn't really faciliate a successful life? What then? I'm not even talking about someone with an inherent propensity for getting into trouble. What if you are like a recluse? Surely you shouldn't remain a recluse.

I need some 8'' to 10'' diameter clear pipe. It can be PVC, Tenite, etc. As long as it is over 1' in length it can be scrap or new. I am looking for it to be $5 to $10 a foot. Or free if it is scrap. (I can find brand new 8'' diameter, clear PVC for $35 a foot but would like it to be cheaper.) I am located in SW Ohio so somewhere areound there would be great!

Thanks!

Some things that are true about a person but may not be widely accepted, are commonly taken out of a person's discussion. When it does come to be spoken of, they often lie about what they've been through or think, to be accepted by others. I'm a fan of telling the truth all of the time, whether one is to like it or not. The truth is the truth thusforth no reason to be ashamed, for it's the truth. Why are most afraid to be themselves? Curious.

It's a science fiction novel about an alien invasion of earth. Part of the invasion involves terraforming the landscape for their use. A pink foam (or snow)-like mold substrate is planted. In addition there are some kind of carnivorous bunny-like creatures (they eat people). I read this book a long time ago and it was one of a series. I also remember a chapter near the end where one of the main characters has a car crash and the bunny creatures attack him.

I have bought a Cambodian Tro (lute) - it is the two-string version where the bow resides between the two strings. Can someone explain in a bit more detail how this instrument is played? Where are the hands positioned? Which strings are played as the bow moved back and forth between them? Does one string cover the treble and the other the bass? Do you apply pressure with the left hand alternately between the two different strings, or is the pressure applied to both strings at the same time?
