If you happen to know...thank you sooooo much! I would like to purchase it for my future Mother in law and a co-worker.

Uwe was an artist in the1970s. He painted ocean scenes mostly, of Southern California, but some of the eastern shoreline. He sometimes painted rivers or woodsy scenes. His work was brilliant. I cannot locate him and cannot find any websites that refer to him. Thank you for your help.

I never read a romance novel in my life except half of one from Nora Roberts called High Montana or something like that. Normally, I read biographies, thrillers, horrors, and science fiction. Yet, I find myself searching for a novel about lost loves or unknown soulmates, (the man knows a person is his soulmate but the woman is unaware or visa-versa), and people in situations they do not want to be in. Any suggestions relating to this topic? Also, I don't want to read a book with flowery, mushy love, something more realistic, Thanks, :)

This is a long shot, since I've searched the Internet already, but does anyone know of a filmed version of Sophocles' Oedipus the King (Oedipus Rex) that uses the Bernard Knox translation? I've found a series of educational tapes (Massachusetts Council for the Humanities, in 1958 or 1959) that use excerpts of the Knox version, but not an entire production.

Knox's translation is the most accessible, most colloquial and dynamic translation for use with regularly-tracked high school students, in my opinion.
