I never read a romance novel in my life except half of one from Nora Roberts called High Montana or something like that. Normally, I read biographies, thrillers, horrors, and science fiction. Yet, I find myself searching for a novel about lost loves or unknown soulmates, (the man knows a person is his soulmate but the woman is unaware or visa-versa), and people in situations they do not want to be in. Any suggestions relating to this topic? Also, I don't want to read a book with flowery, mushy love, something more realistic, Thanks, :)

Uhm, i don't know if you'll like it but there is this book by Glenna McReynolds - Prince of Time. It's not really mushy flowery love, but it's a fantasy romance so i don't really know if you'll like it, unless you like lots of action and adventure too. it's the closest to science fiction i can tell you. =)

I don't know if you would like this, but I am typically interested in the same kind of books as you (bios, thrillers, etc) and I just started reading Nicholas Sparks....I love him so far....He wrote The Notebook, if you have seen that movie...
