It was required reading too. Took place in the future about a little boy who was born to store memories of different thing from the past and when a newborn baby is brought in to train to store the same memories the little boy begins to feel sorry for it and decides to runaway with the baby. Can't remember how it ends but I'm dying to read it again. One part I do remember is they are being looked for and the boy transferes a memory of being extremly sleepy to the baby so they won't be discovered because the baby is being fussy. CAN ANYONE HELP, PLEASE?

I have this thing that I live by and wonder just how many other people think the same thing or same way.

"Treat people the way you would want to be treat" - I think if everyone would do this the world would be a better place. Let people getting hurt by other people and so forth.

"Put yourself in other people shoes or even animals" - you would know them very well as you keep studying them.

There is a mute who wants to buy a toothbrush. ! By imitating the action
of brushing one's teeth, he successfully expresses himself to the
shopkeeper and the purchase is done.

Now if there is a blind man who wishes to buy a pair of sunglasses, how
should he express himself?

In the Bible, it says that the everyone in th world that is left behind will be branded with the beasts number, 666. I wondered if anyone has any theorys on this number. I have a few, like that it may be the number of people who will be able to wash the number off, or that that will be the number of survivors when the Apoclypse is over. Please respond.

I'm particularly looking for a YA kind of book... written in narrative form, with a lot of sarcasm/wit... if there are any books like that... =) Any book recommendations would be good, though. I'm about to go to the library.

I have just finished two really excellent books- "Red Dragon" by Thomas Harris, and "The Catcher in the Rye", by J.D. Salinger. I am currently reading "The Mummy Congress" by Heather Pringle, and also, "Robinson Crusoe" by Daniel Defoe.
