if You believe one person's truth doesn't that make you his sheep? If truth is relative why should I believe your facts, they are also relative. Why should anyone believe anyone even if they have facts? Their facts may be wrong and in believing them that would make me a brainless sheep. In any area of life no matter what it may be- religious, education, politics, history, math, science. One needs to make their own judgements not just believe in one person's, or a group's fact's and truth's.

This is just a general question, so please don't label me because you don't know me, also don't be rude

I know the resolution in slide film is generally higher. Brands of film? I take street photos, and head shots mostly!!!!

I am a slightly keen scholar of North American history, and was recently reading up on the civil war, 1861-1865. I was curious to ask how people in America feel about the civil war today, especially those in the states of the old Confederacy. Are you pleased/relieved that Abe Lincoln kept the union together? How do you feel about the Confederate flag today - expression of Southern identity or symbol of racism and slavery? Any resentment toward the Union states now? War is rarely a good thing, and some might say Civil Wars are the most damaging to any country. But sometimes perhaps they're necessary, & can even make you stronger (as I reckon it did in this case for America). Plus, you could argue the South is fully integrated back into the U.S.A. having provided many of the most recent Presidents - due to population shifts the South seems to have increased importance in the electoral college?

Anyway, what do you think? Agree with any of the above?

If I have an idea or image of a person---whether that idea or image is true or not---isn't that idea or image all I'm seeing of him/her?

I guess a deeper question would be: Is it possible for a person to really see the essence of another person? Or can the heart see what the mind doesn't see?
Thanks.

Math is something that is created by human as a tool to describe our nature. All theoretical physics and even computational algorithms originate from some form of mathematical formulation. Where does the knowledge of math, number, counting, geometry came from in the first place? Do you think math is an intrinsic property of mother nature and so it is also imprinted in our mind, naturally? Is it possible to describe nature using something other than math (ie. planetary motions, fluid dynamics, mechanics)?

As you are now so once was I;
As I am so you must be;
Prepare for death and follow me.
