As am photograper i like to use tan and white on the beach or all white. Black tends to drain the person on film. As for a pose
find some drift wood use it as a bench to sit on.Or walk hand and hand along the edge of the water while the photographer shoots from the sand.. best to shoot at just befor sunset on the beach.
The color is better and less shadows. Another maybe if you stand
in front of him drape you right arm back up around his neck as his head is meeting your lips... I use this in beach wedding.
One I like also is where I have the couple slow dance and I catch them as they move...another is where I have the couple hold hands and go in a circle this gives movement to the dress and the hair and is very cute in print..hopes this help

Write in the sand and then sit next to it. You can write things like "Spring Break 2012" or "Fun in the sun" or your name or "I love ..." Buried in the sand. Pictures of your feet in flip flops. Playing with a beach ball. Laying on your towels with your sunglasses. Playing chicken in the water. Building a sand castle. You guys running into the ocean and splashing. Laying on your stomachs smiling. Playing with a beach umbrella. A picture of you guys looking at the ocean. The picture would be from behind and you two can be holding hands or have your arms around each others shoulders. I know these aren't too creative, but I hope I helped.

beach scenes make me want to puke. Try a time when the white dress will not be washed out.
