Actually, Lilith was Adams first wife and that is exactly what she did. She got so fed up of his crap that she took off to go live with disembodied spirits. Eve was Adams consolation prize. But think about what a loser Adam had to have been that he was the only man and his first wife still divorced him.

Sure. Assuming the Adam/Eve myth was real, then Adam would just have gone and procreated with the "other people" where Lilith had come from.

Yup. Cause god would have banished eve, as he did lilith, and made adam another woman.

Sonny, she could have said what she wanted, it wouldn't have mattered anyway. Adam was stronger and horny as hell. Marriage-rape? (oh wait, marriage was not invented yet, perhaps partner-rape?)

That's all there is to it.

We would not be here because she would not have had the opportunity to be incestuous with her sons.
