Why do we not have one thing we can all agree on?

For example a whole lot of people say the world is round, yet I am sure there are few who would disagree. And instead of embracing our differences we reject them. We have this common thread of always wanting to be right.

Wouldn't it stand to reason that if you never had something before that you would not know you were missing it?

What do ya'll think is going to happen in Harry Potter 7?

Have any theory's? I wish there was going to be more than 7 books but JKR has made up her mind about only having 7. I am excited about the book coming out but then that will be the last book..no more Harry Potter! Do you think JKR will kill off Harry? I heard that she's killing 2 main characters...who do you think they will be? Answer with theories and what not! :]

Okay, I know there's no such thing as 'writer's block' but it seems I've lost the ability to write well.

Everytime I pick up a pen, either jumbled nonsensical sentences or horrible excuses for sentences are born. I used to be a respectable writer, but it's been a while since I've written anything. Any ideas on how to improve writing?
