in some cases, quitting without medical suervision
could be dangerous. i told my doctor i was quitting
the statin he prescribed, but that was after doing a
lot of research and finding which herbs, suppliments
etc, would do the same job without the side effects.

What kind of medication are you taking? Is it something to help you deal with the death of your brother? No matter what it is, you need to talk to your doctor and parents (if ur underage) before stopping it. If you need someone to talk to you can email me from my profile page.

Talk to your doctor. It will probably be important to wean yourself off, esp. if it is a med that works on your brain. You might have to wean off more slowly than your doctor suggests, cutting pills in half, etc. Good luck!

Speak to your doctor... it's not always good to just stop taking meds, sometimes you have to reduce them slowly over time. BTW... you put your question in the wrong category ;-)
