It's all good and well saying that (the use of) language is governed by the rules of logic ...But there is nothing logical about emotions. So in how far has/does subjectivity (emotional input) affect reasoning?
And how is true objectivity obtained other than through something like dissocociation?

We all agree that honesty, truthfulness, goodness, integrity are all good qualities; whereas, lies, hatred, deceit, purjury are all bad qualities. Why do we choose to be bad or evil or villaineous or wicked or sinful? Indeed, if we have the good qualities, that would make us good, right. How about you and everyone else who harbor only the bad qualities? Why are you so sinful? Does the question hurt?

We are having a summer fling for the youth and children in my community. I am in charge of the flyers, but I can't find a good place to make black and white ones.

The set came in a green box and a few cards were mailed out on a weekly basis or so. A color picture was on the front and info was printed on the back about the animal. A completed set had hundred's of cards in it. Who made those? Trying to get the same for my son.

I'm baritone and this phenomenon especially occurs if I try to aim for the notes more than an octave and half from the middle C...
What actually goes wrong here? Lack of breath support?
What do you all suggest for me to avoid this crack once and for all?

Oh, sometimes I'm afraid to sing out loud in front of many people... what could I do to overcome this? Any nice suggestion on this?

Anyway, thanks for all of your feedback...

I used to read Nancy Drew, but that was several years ago. Now I'm reading Sue Grafton's A-Z mysteries, but I'm almost done with them. The less language, the better, but I can tolerate a little. Less violence and more suspense.

i'm looking for the name of this book i read in the 4th grade. i really liked it so i'd appriciate it if people didn't just answer for points.
this is what it's about:
this boy's mother was a writer. she wrote books about all kinds of things and once she started writing a book about a prince and his family. for some reason, the princes parents had to leave the city and they never came back. then before she can finish the story the woman who was writing the book dies. the prince appears in her sons room. then the whole book goes on about how he lives in our world and at the end he and the author's son manage to get themselves transported into the story, where everyone in the prince's palace has turned into trees. and the longer the price stays there, the more he begins to look like a tree untill hes hardly human anymore even. but they had brought the story's manuscript with them and the prince writes the end of the story and everyone basically lives happily ever after.

Lately I have been looking towards a system of secular morals. It seems that morals attached to a religious ideology creates problems in such a diverse country as the United States. So it seems, that a system of morals that disregards the necessity of religious belief and exists apart from this diversity in beliefs could end some of these problems. But is this possible? Can a system be developed that would allow for this? Please advise.
