trying to find a product to use to decorate/paint on shirts. most of the stuff says it doesnt wash off or fade but the very "Tulips Fabric Paint" stuff peels off after a while. i need something permament!

You might try Decoart's So-Soft paint. It blends into the fabric rather than sitting on the surface as many of the other fabric paints do. You can also use regular acrylic paint, if you mix it with a Textile Medium. The textile medium prevents fading and also will make the paint softer.

Try Liquitex's regular Soft body acrylics: they aren't specifically advertised as a fabric paint, but they're product flyer mentions this use and I've had great results with them in terms of workability and longevity.

after you paint on the shirt, let it dry, then put an old rag over it, and iron it. then the paint will stay on when you wash/dry it.
