Why would I have to choose just one? Perhaps reality is multifaceted and different authors have different points of view, each of which captures one facet of reality.

Well, most would likely not classify him as a "philosophical thinker", but I believe I've gotten more insight into the human condition and more practical and sensible ethical/moral guidelines from the writings of Kurt Vonnegut than from any "official" philosopher that I've read.

I admire a number of philosophers, but my hat goes off to Hobbes. No other philosopher so accurately described the human condition: "nasty, brutish, and short."

Me, cause I am always right and understand that everything has infinite perspectives. Very few people are able to see things from another one's perspective.
