We are having a summer fling for the youth and children in my community. I am in charge of the flyers, but I can't find a good place to make black and white ones.

Do you have Microsoft Works? (It comes pre-loaded on most computers, I believe.) Open it & click on "Newsletters & Flyers"... see if you can use those.

If you are running Windows, you should have the Wordpad program on your PC. Do a Start > Accessories > Wordpad.

It is a simple word processor that should let you create a flier. Will allow you to add pictures, use fancy fonts, etc. Even color if you want.

Good luck with making one, and God's best on your summer fling.

You don't need the internet really. I'm sure your church all ready has a program that does design and then just print to a b/w printer.

Otherwise, go to a print shop and see if they'll donate the work and materials or ask if there's anyone at your church with Quark, Illustrator or a program like that that could help you.

You can just make it on Microsoft Word. Type in the words and add some pictures. Or you could use Microsoft Publisher, that has templates to make really cool flyers....

Hi I am a graphic designer and do this sort of thing for a living.
But you should be able to do these at home. Any basic program will do it. Word etc. Save yourself some bucks, There are lots of freeware programs about too for layout and such.
