How can the previous question "Did God choose to be God ?" be resolved ?

By putting it in a specific context. Like did God choose to be God to men? Then the answer is "yes". Did God choose to be God as if He exists in time and changes over time so that at some point in the far distant past He decided to be what He is? Then the answer is "no" because He never changes, never learns anything, never makes a mistake.
