I really need straight As this quarter to bring up my GPA, and I really need some good methods to help me. I don't wanna sacrifice my social life/friends. Are there any good methods that don't involve studying 8hours a day 7days a week?! I'm an undergrad. Biology major.

Both my daughter and the boy that brought the knife to school are 9 years old. The boy was threatening to kill other children! It clearly states in the student handbook that there is a "no tolerance" law, and any student that brings a weapon to school will be automatically expelled. The boy got ONLY 2 days of in-school suspension!! I am very angry about this, because it basically says tells the children nothing will happen if you bring a weapon to school! I plan to go to the office as soon as school is back in to speak to the principal about this. Does anyone have any suggestions, other than going to the school?!

Unlike movies that came about 30 years ago...the movies now always have the "F" word for all swear dialogues used in hollywood movies and it really sucks when watching movies with kids....What do you feel about it?

i had jasc animation shop 3 until i deleted because i tried opening a video with it and it said no virtual memory or somthing and the computor wont let me play vids on it. how can i fix this?? can i delte some of the virtual memroy that is being taken up

Okay, so I recently downloaded the trial for Photoshop Elements 6.

I used Photoshop before so I knew most of it, but how do I get patterns on my brushes instead of just a solid color?

What sense does the big bang theory make? The universe started off as something as small as an atom. Ok, where did that come from? Where did this atom come from? Where did god come from? I know its a loaded question but, the universe started off as a little atom and blew up. Okay that tells me nothing. Thats like taking a big problem and making it bigger and calling it a theory. How do scientists get away with that? Why can't they just say, "we don't know." ?? Can anyone elaborate non-stupidly on this subject?

i'm a pretty good student and i'll be graduating soon. i'm considering not going to college yet though. i've always wanted to be a part of the Peace Corps and was thinking about doings that right after high school. i want to go to college, i want to major in theatre, but i think i might put that on hold.

good or bad idea?

i want to stay in state the 1st year or so of school, then transfer. i've thought of the following options:
1) go to college in state 1-2 years. stop for a year or two, join the PC, then go back to college
2) join right after high school, then go to college
3) go and finish college, then join

i haven't even talked to my parents about it. i just want other opinions.

I have hip pain which is continuing to become more severe. It was only my right hip that was giving out on me, but now my left one gave out. I literally had to crawl up the stairs in my house tonight. I'm worried because I have a one year old daughter that I carry up and down the stairs and don't want it to give out. I have also had trouble sleeping from the aching in my hip joints for about a year, which of course gets worse when it is cold. I am 28 and yes I am overweight. I know the most obvious and beneficial thing is to lose weight, but that is going to be a long term goal. Should I be more concerned? Should I speak to my doctor about this? Any kind of leg, thigh, or hip exercises I can do? I am so worried because I have read that some hip damage is irreversible. Damn, I'm scared. I'm to young.

Whats the laws for carrying a conceiled weapon with a permit?? I just bought a smith and wesson 9mm for target shooting but i also want a permit to carry it too... I am a responsible person, and want it for protection as well as for recreation use!!

20 yr old son ran away from home??? and has been taken in by 16 yr old girlfriend and her parents. He met her in Sept and since day one has thought she lived at our house. His grades slipped, he dropped 2 classes and his focus is gone, at least it seems that way.The way she used to bad mouth her parents in the beginning it seemed she thought that she was trying to move in with us. My wife has been very supportive and cordial but during conversations with her, redflag, redflag redflags are appearing, something is amiss. We have decided to stay calm and supportive since he is an adult but I don't want him to do something he will regret.
