It was an old black and white movie where a reporter (I think) stays for one night and the mansion keeper shows him how people were murdered through visions, until he shows him it's time for the reporter to die. (Every year at the same date the murders occur).

i have 2 questions.

Today i was in a pet store. I know where the pups come from, puppy mills. I watched helplessly as a family was debating wheter or not to take home a min pin pup. I wanted to take them and shake them. i wanted to tell them that it wasn't worth the pain...

i looked down the rows. i hadn't realized it before, but they all looked sick. they slept, and slept, and slept. it broke my heart.

1)How do you feel about the petstore/puppy mill business?

2) why do people just blow this issue off like it isn't a big deal?
"this puppy won't have any health problems, it's a purebred."

This makes me want to scream.

Why is there so much vanity in the USA? Many people outside America think that a world without the USA would be a better world. Do they have a point?

Been together 20 years
I love him
I believe he loves me
He's depressed
He doesn't work
He's becoming very passive agressive
Doesn't do his share any more (I work, he doesn't)
Children involved, not teens yet
He's got a chronic and expensive illness
No passion, no sex
Don't sleep together any more
He spends all day sleeping and most of the night on the computer doing first shooter games
He used to be addicted to online porn. I don't think he does this much any more if at all. That's really when I stopped feeling passionate towards him.
Used to help with parenting, now pretty much disengaged
I fear he's suicidal
He's becoming more outwardly angry
He has never hit or abused me. He has never really even yelled at me.


I feel responsible for him. He can't survive without me. No job skills. No insurance.

I committed to him for life when we married.

He's very depressed and unhappy with his life, but doesn't seem able to change...

I was thinking, if USA and NATO do the following:

Publicly announce that if both Pakistan and India don't give up nuclear weapons and their military nuclear program right away, they would be invaded. Both these countries do not deserve to have nuclear weapons because only the governments of these nations are bent on killing innocent people across the border.

People of Pakistan and India don't have anything against eachother. Each loves their own nation and are eager to trade with eachother and live in peace.

Kashmir doesn't mean anything to average Pakistani or Indian. The issue to Kashmir is quite easy. Hold a transparent referendum. This will satisfy both India and Pakistan.

Both these countries' defences should be limited and capped. Both these countries should be forced to distribute wealth among poverty stricken population effectively.

Finally, both countries forces should be reorganized forcefully to counter internal and external terrorism and narcotics.

He has education up to first class bachelors degree (civil engineering) from India.

Now, in the UK he only has experience in the labour manufacturing sector, but since last Christmas after a minor car accident, he cannot purse work in this sector.

Now, at 50+ years of age, he is finding it difficult to find a job due to lack of experience of any other sector.

He is looking to do something full time, maybe something office based. He has good organisation skills and has basically self taught himself to be very good with computing (he's achieved ECDL and is pursuing ECLD advanced for qualifications). But no-one seems to want to give him a go!!!

He doesn't have the money to start up something from scratch and has tried agencies (even 50+ specialist ones) but lack of experience and age seems to put him at a disadvantage everywhere!

Any ideas or advice out there?! (Seriously, because believe me, he is trying so hard!)
