My father has prostate metastatic cancer, which in itself is terribly devastating. However, there is much more. My parents are divorced and he is now married to a woman who is an alcoholic, she is violent, mean, manipulative, controlling, hateful, and abusive, among many other things. She likes to cause trouble for everyone in her life and now she has decided to do that with me. She isn't allowing me to talk to my father or visit him. I don't know what to do, who knows how long he has, it could be years or days, I don't know. I am having a hard time dealing with this and don't know what to do. My father and I have had a very rocky relationship and it has just been over the last few years that we have come together to be as normal as can be. I don't think I have any legal rights to him, I would like to have some control, but I don't think that is possible. This woman is making it very hard for me to deal with this. I just need some advice, I can't seem to handle this anymore.

my best friend broke up with her longest bf of 2 years about 3 months ago. she was really sad and it hit her badly, which is how anyone would be in that situation. we just got into college (we are 16). i noticed this really hot guy and we had a lot of eye contact, and i thought maybe something would happen. he would approach me, but i realised whenever he did he would be a little too touchy feely (put his hand around my waist, carress my shoulder etc). i also heard rumours that he was trying to get with other girls, and that many other girls were interested in him. so i lost interest, because a player isnt my type of guy. then my best friend phones me and says she likes him and he tried to kiss her. i told her that he was slightly flirtatious and i didnt think he had the right interests. she got mad at me and ignored me, and i didn;t know what to do becayse i knew she wouldnt tell me about anything else that happened with him if i was pesmistic. so i shunned my previous feelings aside,

baught the wrong game at gamestop yesterday. I meant to buy Mario Party DS and I baught Super Mario DS. I like the game I baught, but I really want that other game. Should I return the game I have, or should I keep it.


NOTE: I have money to keep the game i got AND get the one i meant to, however I need the money for something else. I can return the game I have because it is used.

This scenario pertains to a group of condominium owners under a home owners association (HOA). When our HOA was formed 30 years ago, the HOA was given the right to purchase any condo that came up for sale at the same price and under the same terms that any other buyer outside the HOA might make in a firm offer to an existing owner. This is a fairly common "Right of First Refusal" although it is not necessarily standard in all HOA agreements.

Not having been there at the time of this HOA formation, my question is -- "What would be the most typical REASON for affording the existing co-owners that Right of First Refusal?"

I believe it would be because the ones who bought in first are thought to have superior rights of ownership since they have been investing in that condominium community. Therefore, if they like what's been happening economically and they want to preserve their priority position, they can accumulate more of the same property in an advantaged position.

So i NEVER thought i'd use high school algebra in real life but...
My car gets 28 miles to the gallon.
Gas costs about $3 per gallon.
If i am taking a trip that is 639 miles, how much money will i spend on gas?
Have worked out the "problem" to start:

Since I was blocked and cannot view the 'other' person question who asked a similar question I decided to post one myself, 1st off, who agrees with me,(Thats the question)
The Word Homosexual is not mentioned Specifically but the act of Homosexuality is mentioned, It's like this, The Word "trinity" is not mentioned in the Bible but is used by Christians to describe the unity of God, Son, Holy Spirit.

I am about to buy a car: a 2004 to 2006 Lexus ES330 or Audi A4 sedan. The Lexus are only FWD, while the Audis are FWD or AWD. I'm really not much of a car person, so I'm not looking for top luxury, super fast, etc. I've just never had a really nice car, and these 2 seemed to fit the bill and have great safety records, no/few recalls, etc. Which is the better quality car? Reliable, few issues / repairs, less likely to be in the shop all the time, the better value? I'm not too worried about the price of repair parts either, because both Lexus and Audi are offering 3+ yr warranties, loaner cars during repairs, etc. I'm looking only at certified cars.

Whenever he is around his friends and I at the same time he's a COMPLETELY different person. He pokes jokes at me (sometimes incredibly rude ones), he swears a lot (he RARELY swears around me), and he just seems so much more of a "manly man".
Whenever he's around just me, he's a kind-hearted, good natured, perfect man. I understand that men feel like they need to make a good impression in front of their friends, but he's 24 years old! It's like he does a complete 180 whenever he's around his friends. It almost makes me not want to hang out with him and his friends anymore.
Also, the people he hangs out with aren't good at all. They always encourage him to cheat (which he assures me that he would never), and they all cheat on their girlfriends.
I just don't know what to do -- his friends have been around much longer than I have, and he's the love of my life... but I can't stand his attitude when he's around his friends, and I really think that they are bad influences on him. Help!?

I'm only a soph. in highschool but a lot of adults i know and my school are encouraging me to try and find places that take internships over the summer so we can get a better idea of what we want to be when we're older. I didn't even think internships to sophmores were given. I really wanted an internship at Rolling Stone Magazine in nyc but i'm not sure if they're offered to people my age...does anyone know?
