Yes I think the crisis in Pakistan will impact the outcome of the presidential race here in the U.S.
The horrible turn of events will destabilize Pakistan and may make some Democrats think: Is a nice guy three years removed from the Illinois state Senate ready to deal with this mess? And it may make some Republicans think: Mike loves Jesus more than any of the other guys, but McCain actually knows a thing or two about foreign policy. With the Iowa voting less than a week away, it seems likely that the candidates with extensive foreign policy experience are bound to benefit. Except for the candidate with the most experience of all: Joe Biden, who isn't even on the radar any more.

Yes, especially after civil war sets in, and extremists use the chaos as an opportunity to sneak nukes to the Taliban in Afghanistan.

People's attention spans don't last that long. Most will have forgotten all about anything that happens now by the time November rolls around.

I seriously doubt it, sure all of the candidates on both sides will politicize the event, but at the end of the day, I dont think it will effect much.

It will have no effect, though I don't doubt America will decide it has to tell Pakistan what to do, like they do the rest of the world

I doubt it. The politicians will make a big deal out of it, but I dont think the voters will.

I think it could increase the chances of candidates who are security conscious.

That being McCain and (if you can believe her) Clinton.
