I am a former christian. In middle school and elementary school I was a staunch christian who did not understand how others could not believe in God and Jesus. I am now a diest. I found the christian faith to be hypocritical (forgive all people and do not judge yet christians judge gays and people who get abortions). I also know that the bible has been altered to suit the desires of kings and other ancient powerful people. Not to mention the problems withe bible (If Adam and Eve were the only people on Eath and they had children, how did Abel find other people?). I also believe in evolution and have seen how it makes more sense then creationism. Anyway-I was wondering if these reasons are why (if you are a former christian) you left the faith?

Please help me...From my understanding you must find the mean....then you subtract the numbers to the mean, and add up the difference and divide it by 18...Why do i keep getting different answers...

He's very lazy and neglectful to me and our children. He's an alchoholic and he smokes. He's obviously bored with family. He lies all the time about stupid little things, so I'm sure there's got to be big stuff too. He's addicted to World of Warcraft.

On the positive...he's never cheated. He brings home a decent paycheck. I enjoy spending time with him when he does choose to, but it's so far and few between.

That's the general idea. Why do I feel like such an idiot for sticking around and hoping things will be OK in the future. For the record, he didn't smoke when we married. He drank, but not daily, and we used to spend lot's of time together. I know he isn't cheating, but I feel like he's bored to death of us and I don't know what to do. Our lives seem to be divided.

Ideas?

Hi there, I am a 23 year old male. I have abdominal pain issues and don't know what I may be caused from.

I have been having lower left quadrant pains since early September 2007. I went to a walk in clinic to get checked out and the doctor ordered an Ultrasound for me....apparently nothing showed up...and he thought that it would possibly be diverticulitis. I have been constantly having abdominal pains in the lower left, and now lower right.....sometimes even in the upper right and left quadrants (right below my rib cage).....My feces are alternating with sticky and diarhea..ish. And sometimes there is blood when I wipe my rectum.

I have developed a nagging hoarseness cough since November 2007 now and it has still not gone away along with these abdominal pains.....I am quite scared because I know that some colon cancers (hopefully i don't have) spread through the blood to the lungs. I do feel like this cough is caused from my abdomen though since I do not have cold like symptoms
