Girls only, please. I've known her/ her family for a long time... really started talking and such this year.. her family is WAY overprotective, to a point that her mom doesnt even like her talking to guys... We're going skating with our church SS class tomorrow, and i bought a necklace for her a while back(while i was on vacation) which i was planning on giving her. Right now, i have it wrapped in a note that says:

Each of these necklaces has a meaning; And, although I picked this one because of the color of the flower, it must be a coincidence that this one stands for beauty...right?

Do you believe in extraterrestrials or do you think we are the only living beings in this entire universe? Sometimes I think; Why would God create a universe so big and so beautiful with so many planets and so many galaxies for no one or nothing to live there? Maybe it is because we have not expanded our minds and thought of possibilities in life that we don't have the technologies they may have if they are real to travel to our planet from millions of light years away, cause we are always thinking inside the box. We only think of things that are logical and whatever doesn't fit our standards of logic and " right " is not possible. Maybe that is why we don't have the technology to beat cancer, aids... Anyway, do you believe in extraterrestrials?

For the past 3 years she's openly told me every once in a while that she likes this guy in our grade. She's told me how much better he is than me at some things and once that she wished she could date him/ have a relationship with me like she would with him. She told me she wrote a story about them at the beach where they makeout and stuff and she sent it to me to read about 2 years ago. Three months ago she told the guy that she's liked him off and on since 7th grade (we're seniors now) and that she wants to get to know him better and become friends like little kids on the playground. This hurt me and since then I've found that I havent liked her as much. A lot of things she does annoy me... even little things like saying hello in the hall. Sometimes she is too immature for me. We talked about it and she said she thought we were no longer friends but she still wants to date. I'm not sure what to do about it because it's 3 months and i thought it'd get better. What should I do

now, the thing is the following.I've always worn contacts, and I've almost never worn my glasses, since I went directly to contacts when they were first prescribed to me (I was 11 ys old)
Now, I'm quite tired of contacts and to be honest, I like some of the frames (not quite confortable with how they look on me but I'll get used to that)
I was just wondering, with that prescription, could I be just an "occasional wearer" (I mean for driving, movies, etc)
or will it be impossible for me to manage without them? (I'm talking about completely leaving contacts for a while and wearing eyeglasses but taking them on and off throughout the day, not leaving them on from when I wake up till when I go to bed as I used to do with contacts)

Well my parents got divorced when I was 4 and ever since last summer I switched homes every 2 weeks. My dad is a jerk. He is always making me sad (telling me what I do or look like is bad, comparing me and trying to make me change) and make me feel useless (there's no room for my opinion or for what i want to do). When I'm with him every other weekend now he is still being a jerk to me and I can't stand it. Is it just me, or should I be able to live how I want, I am 16 years old, and I don't want to see him! He makes me so sad and mad and hopeless! I want to be with my mom! He is so stubborn, he thinks everything is okay! Can I refuse and not go with him tomorrow? Could I get in trouble? I told him i wanted to go shopping and he said no because "that's what girls do" and I feel horrible why does he even want me I feel hated absolutely HATED
I try to be strong I try to have a good attitude but it ends up hurting me in the end!!!!!!

Ok I'm here in New York for the holidays and my boyfriend [he's in Miami ]has become really obsessive with me for the past few months. I really don't want to be with him because to get straight to the point he's a bum. No job. No school. Living with his parents at 22. Gave him many chances for him to change but never did.
