Girls only, please. I've known her/ her family for a long time... really started talking and such this year.. her family is WAY overprotective, to a point that her mom doesnt even like her talking to guys... We're going skating with our church SS class tomorrow, and i bought a necklace for her a while back(while i was on vacation) which i was planning on giving her. Right now, i have it wrapped in a note that says:

Each of these necklaces has a meaning; And, although I picked this one because of the color of the flower, it must be a coincidence that this one stands for beauty...right?

Hope you like it;

Merry Christmas, and God bless.

The company has a meaning for each design, and the meaning for the one i got her is beauty... And, could we still be friends when i told her that way, over the traditional way, if it doesnt work out? Little help?
Pretty much:

Really like the girl, bought her the gift, giving it to her at skating..?

good/bad idea?

How would you feel?

I dont want to offend her/ her family...also, if i do give it to her, should i do it in person, or slip it into her coat to find later? She'll know its from me, I'm the only guy that she's going to know there. I know in person is mostly the way to go, but for some reason, i really like the coat idea... it will keep her thinking about me after we leave, wont it? O_o

No worries about her keeping it from her family, we're both driving, and her family wont be there.

I think that would be a very nice gift.

Have you thought about "What if she didn't get you anything?"

I'm not quit sure I understand your wording though. I know what you are trying to say but it's not written well.

If it's already wrapped, let it go.

Just an idea "incase" you want to rewrite the note.

The meaning behind this flower is beauty
and I thought of you when I saw this, you little cutie....

just kidding but I was thinking more on the lines of a few liners that ryhme.

Have fun, I'm sure she will love it....:)

Give it to her in person. That way, she can keep her family from knowing about it if she wants to. It will also give you a chance to see her reaction to the gift. It sounds very nice and does not appear to cross a line.

I would slip it in her coat with the note- if you don't tell her you will never know. Good luck!
