i met this girl in college 2 years ago, At that time i had a big crush on her and I still do, so i sent flowers on her birthday two years ago. , but i dint have my name on them she called me and thanked me for the flowers at that time, But nothing serious happened between us, we took a few courses together after we met, Recently she told me that she thinks i am cute, and that she had a crush on me the first day of class but she had to stop after learning that i was a Muslim. Couple day ago i was online and she asked me when my birthday was, i told her that it passed, and she asked me if i was going to send her flowers for her birthday, I was like how about red roses this time, and she told me that she likes Pink roses. .And she invited me to her b-day party which was yesterday, so I went and she was there with 3 other girls no boys, she was nice to me, then after the club, I was driving home and I text messaged her “saying text me when you get home please”. Then she responded an hour later saying that “I am home, thank you for being there, Gosh too bad we are different religions otherwise I would date u”. I didn’t ask her for a date or anything. Is she trying to tell me something? This was the only time we actually hung out, out of class and I had not seen her in a while. But we have always been keeping in touch over msn. What should i do? Her roses will be delivered today with a message saying
“I saw these roses and, even though they were beautiful, nothing can compare to the beauty i see in you”. Was sending the roses a mistake? Is she telling me to stay away from her by getting religion involved? I didn’t ask her if she would like to date me.

english spelling is hard enough for english people, let alone foreigners so do you think that english should adopt a strict new pronounciation based method of spelling? this would almost be impossible with the current english alphabet but if more clear vowel sounds were available and strict letters stood for strict sounds i think it could easily work and be easily adopted by the world's english speaking population. english is 1 incredibly difficult language to learn and then mastering to write it is a whole new challenge. for instance: "th" can make 2 different sounds such as in "the" or "three". "c" can make the sound of either a "k" or an "s" and what's the point of having an "x" because this is just the same as "ks"!! english has more vowel sounds than actual vowels so maybe it could adopt things like accents, circumflexes(hats) and the little dots to make the pronounciation clearer. i reallt think this would work and i would like to hear your views and ideas on it please!!!

Just received a Christmas gift from a friend in Washington state. Box intact, paper wrap intact. Inside, wrapped in plastic then in wrapping paper were some kitchen towels that were so sopping they got water on the sofa and I had to wring them out and put them in the dryer! Other packages in the same box were totally dry. I called my friend - it was not a joke and she is as mystified as we are. My husband thinks someting to do with condensation - my daughter thinks she packed ice in inadvertently but I think it might be physics of some other kind. Does anyone have any idea?

I dated this guy for 4 years and we decided that we were growing apart and decided to take a "break", During this time he fell in love with this other girl he said. I know the girl and we have always had problems. I still love him to death and they broke up and he started talking to me again but now they are talkin again and she has started texting me and calling me to insult me and tell me hurtful things, some of which he has said. He says he loves me but hes just confused. I want to be with him but i also want to move on because im scared of being hurt again. She is very pretty and has lots of money and im just not sure how i could compete with that. I pray and pray but for almost a year now my situation just seems to get worse. Someone please help me! She treats him so bad and i treated him so good, i just dont understand. If there are any suggestions or anyone who has been through this please give me some advice on how to handle this.

I (as well as atleast 5 other people) were hired within a 3 month span of time (approximately 8-10 month ago) and told when we were hired that a benefit of the job is that the employer would pay a percentage of our federal tax. While no one has this documented from the employer, atleast 6 people are able to verify it and management has verbally stated that they did say it but did not mean it in that way (now covering it up so they don't have to pay). It was initially presented as a job "perk" (as there are no others with the job). Several employees have quit over this and we are all going to be heavily taxed, as they have only been withholding 6% of tax (not enough to cover taxes in PA). Is there legal recourse?

I have a vague memory of a road-trip type movie, which I saw a a drive-in, about the mid-seventies, but for the life of me, I can't remember the title. The story had something to do with a couple of hitchhiking carny drifters who go on a road trip with a stranger in a high-speed muscle car; they take advantage of the driver, take his wallet & car, and find themselves on the lam, when they find out that the car is full of illegal drugs...

So I thought this guy liked me. He gave me his number, called me 10 times in one night trying to get ahold of me, and always looks at me. We use to talk and were friends but this yr we kind of stop talking to each other. I thought maybe he was to shy to talk to me. Anytime one of my friends mentions me and is always trying to listen to the conversation. So I thought I would call him and when I did he had someone tell me that this wasn't his phone. I talked to him the next day and he sat there and lied to me with smile on his face the whole time. (It really was his phone) IDK what to think. I don't want to like him because he is acting like a major jerk but he completely confuses me. Why would he act like he likes me then the next minute act like he hates me?

I have a $1,500 bill with a $2,000 limit if I pay off all of my bill does that mean I will still have a limit of $2,000 or whatever was left before I paid off the balance? It the same with my other credit bill but I owe only $500 with a $ 750 limit ? I not sure how it all works?

i've read that gearing down and using engine braking saves fuel, compared with coasting up to traffic lights. But how can this be if the engine is in neutral it's not under load so it can't use much fuel. which one is right.
