All I see when I look through papers like The Express, Daily Mail etc all I see is sensationalism and speculation, which celeb's got cellulite this week and how everything is to be blamed on the ethnic minorities. Even news channels like the BBC and Sky News are shoddy and I've yet to see a balanced report in all sources mentioned above. The only paper I can find which offers balanced reports is the Times!

I believe the media have a lot to answer for. They create hatred and uproar and only seem to focus on negative issues and this really frustrates me. Why can't they just report things which have happened and offer a fair and balanced piece. What has happened to journalism and the media? They're fuelling the fires of the ignorant causing fear and hatred in society. What do you think should be done? Do you have the same opinion?

I liked this girl since elementary (girl A) but I hadn't seen her in years (we’re 18). Anyways I found out what her email was was last year through someone. Anyways at this time I started to like another girl (girl B) and that really prevented me from really getting close to the girl from elementary. Anyways I’ve more or less closed with girl B for reasons that I cant tell you it’s a very long story that’s over a year old and its only recently that I’ve concentrated a bit more on girl A. The reason I brought up girl B was because you people would ask what happened between last year and now if you liked girl A. anyways girl A broke up with her bf so I figured I’d see her again as friends. The first time was about 2 weeks ago and she didn’t show up (I know the reason). Then to kind off make it up, she invited me to a club with her friends. When I got there, she was already drunk and everything, so I more or less spent my night making sure nothing happened to here (I didn’t bring her home because I didn’t have the means and her friends were going to do that). More or less, I watched her make out with a guy gong up and going up the stairs and back down and the works. I figured it was something that only happened like once or twice. When I spoke to her the day later (we tried getting in touch before that) she said that she doesn’t go out to clubs often but when she does, that happens. Now I’m wondering what I should do. I still like her but what are my options? And I don’t know if she knows that I like her. Also, I'm finished with girl B. I only mentioned it because that was the only thing holding to go after the other one. And that’s not my point. What I meant to say was she gets drunk even time at clubs so if it exactly like this every time now what would happen when we go out?

I had two snakes on me biting me simultaneously. One on my arm and one on my back. They were both rather large. On my arm I could feel the teeth slowing piercing into me. I could feel the burn of the venom seeping into my body and running through my veins, but it did not affect me. I was immune. The bites hurt both on my arm and my back. I tried to fight the two snakes off. The one on my arm I could see. It was light green and grey. We made eye contact. I remember thinking to myself why is the venom not killing me? I was yelling for my mother but she could not hear or help me. She was to far in the distance. I was not afraid I just wanted the "pests" off of me. Their grip hurt. I never saw the snake on my back, but it was there with a firm grip. That is all I remember. Vivid huh? Please interpret.

This is a longshot, but theres this song in MTV's True Life (Hooked on Oxycontin), a beautiful piano piece with a womans soft wooing over it. I can't find this song, but ive heard it many times, and I MUST track it down. It's deffinately no mtv pop song.

Oh, and the episode aired in 2003, so the song is from that time period.

This is a very long story and I will try to make it as short as possible. Please note, this will be longer than 1000 characters allowed, so please be patient as I keep adding details below.

I was a widow at 35. I was married to a man with severe bipolar and he was also an alcoholic, his name was Jamie. Jamie had a huge heart and would do anything for anyone when he was mentally healthy and not drinking. The problem was the mental illness was present a majority of the time and so were the alcohol issues. We were married for 5 year's and had one son who is my late husbands namesake but we call my son James, he's is now 7, was 4 when his dad died. So now let me get to the story, just had to give a little info so this could be followed easily.

I met Jamie at a bar. He was on the dance floor being goofy with some coworkers. I was sitting with my friend Mary Jo watching Jamie dance because it was funny.
